On Saturday 17th September we will be hosting our Rescue and Family Fun Day.
It will be a day of fun and excitement whilst also educating families on the work of our emergency services.
Joining us will be the police, air ambulance, mountain rescue and the local fire service. All of the services will be bringing their emergency vehicles and we are hoping that the Air Ambulance will be giving us a helicopter fly over (if they’re not too busy!).
Also joining us will be the Royal Heritage Society with some wonderful vintage vehicles.
We are also raising money for charity on the day with our ‘Super Hero Stroll’. Dress up as your favourite super hero and take part! Follow the clues in the trail leaflet to guide you around Stones Island to the finish!
With face paining and children’s entertainer it will be a great day out!
Thank you to everyone that attended our recent Family Fun Day. It was a pleasure seeing so many people enjoying themselves and it was great fun getting close (sometimes too close!) to some creepy crawly friends, watching Punch & Judy, practising our balancing skills or having a go at some sumo wrestling. There was something to do for all the family and we hope to see you all again next time!
Our next event is our Rescue Day – Saturday 17th September 2016. Another family day out to see how the rescue services operate… we are even hoping for a fly over from the local air ambulance (If they’re not busy saving lives!)
We look forward to seeing you…
